Just in case you haven’t had enough heads up about local crab feeds, we also provide listings on the online calendar at

A quick search for “crab feeds” in the area brings up six before the end of the month.

Feb. 6

Feb. 20

6 p.m. San Joaquin AIDS Foundation Crab & Shrimp Feed, Lodi Grape Festival Grounds, 413 E. Lockeford St., Lodi

Feb. 26

6 p.m. David Jackson Memorial Scholarship Crab Feed, Italian Athletic Club, 3541 Cherryland Dr., Stockton

Feb. 27

5:30 p.m. St. Basil Preschool Annual Crab Feed, Klamath Ferry Harbor, 2894 Monte Diablo Ave., Stockton

UPDATE: Another crab feed has come to my attention. The Victims of Violent Crimes Support Group of San Joaquin County Inc. will be hosting a crab feed at the Italian Athletic Club, 3541 Cherryland Dr., Stockton beginning 6 p.m. Feb. 19. Tickets are $40 per person and include crab, salad, pasta, bread and dessert. Steak will be avaliable for those not wanting crab, according to a flier from the organization.
