LangeTwins offers relaxing start to the weekend

Time is running out to enjoy live music, wine and delicious charcuterie at LangeTwins Winery in Acampo.

Each Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. through August 25, LangeTwins’ hospitality manager Jillian Mulrooney and the winery’s attentive staff will transform the gorgeous Redwood Room into a lounge, creating a relaxed vibe to kickstart the weekend. Guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and feast on an individual charcuterie board while listening to live music.

LangeTwins Redwood Room lounge continues on Friday nights through Aug. 25.

During a recent visit to the Friday night lounge, my group shared a bottle of LangeTwins’ Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve which paired beautifully with the bountiful charcuterie board that had olives, blueberries, honey, walnuts, cheeses, cured meats, sliced fruit, baguette and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. To top it off, a serving of caramel sea salt gelato with chocolate chunks drizzled with LangeTwins’ “port”  was served. It was a meal.

If you’ve not been to the Redwood Room, which is adjacent to the Press Room where guests can taste LangeTwins’ eclectic lineup, it is a must. Every detail is well thought-out. It’s a gorgeous spot.

Reservations are required. Limit 28 guests. Tickets are $30. Wine club members receive 20 percent off. Payment is required at the time of reservation. Information: (209) 334-9780, extension 1.
