Great find

The 2012 Sojourn Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Sojourn Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ($39)

Aromatic, medium-bodied, elegant wine, brimming with cherry and red fruit with hints of tea leaf, earth and baking spices, such as clove. Well-structured and deep, medium tannins. Alcohol: 14.4%. Highly recommended.

The 2012 vintage of Sojourn’s Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir showcases a number of exceptional vineyards spanning the whole breadth of Sonoma County, from the southern Petaluma Gap to northern Annapolis. Pinot Noir from Sangiacomo and Rodgers Creek vineyards provide familiar lush textures and concentrated flavors. Campbell Ranch adds highlighted fruit characters. Riddle and Wohler vineyards add big ripe berry fruits and richness to this complex Pinot Noir.
