Mustangs win Men’s & Women’s Big 8 Water Polo Championships

Delta College Baseball advances to State Final Four

For the third straight weekend the Mustangs swept their playoff series.  They defeated Cosumnes River College 12-7 and 13-4.  In game one the Mustangs had 18 hits and starting pitcher Mickey Wright allowed only two earned runs.  Marcus Vidales and Nick Poirier were both 4 for 5 and Joe Montes had a 3 run homer.  [...]

Delta Athletics Gives Back

On Tuesday, December 8th, over 150 student athletes from San Joaquin Delta College gave back to Stockton during their annual ‘clean up’ day.  The student athletes, coaches and staff volunteered their time cleaning up the downtown area. Delta College Women’s Soccer hosts Playoffs on Saturday

Mustang women’s soccer is seeded #3 in the NorCal Regionals. They are hosting Cosumnes River College at 6:00pm this Saturday at Gardemeyer Field at UOP. Delta Athletics Year in Review

Mustang Athletics had arguably their best year ever during the 2014-15 season. Delta finished 7th in California in the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA) Cup, and 21st in the nation in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup. Delta College Women’s Basketball Return to California Final 4

The Women’s Basketball Team for Delta College is returning to the Final Four round of the CCCAA State Championships.  The lady mustangs will take on San Antonio College tomorrow (Saturday) at 7pm.  If they win that game, Delta will compete for the championship on Sunday at 3:30.  Be sure to cheer on your local team!
