The community in Murphys is pulling together in many ways in the wake of the discovery of the killing of two children and the suicide of their father. I just got this email from Sanders Lamont about First Congregational Church (corner of Algiers and Church streets) opening its doors today.
Here’s his message:
The First Congregational Church sanctuary will be open on Monday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for members of the local community who would like an opportunity for mourning, prayer or meditation in view of the tragic loss of life in the community this past week.
