Tunno publishes a book

Calaveras County folks mostly know David Tunno for his efforts to educate folks here about federal flood zone mapping and his advocacy for fair treatment of property owners. But Tunno has a much larger life including a career of several decades as a trial consultant.

Tunno makes use of what he learn in the trial consultant biz  in a recently-published book, Fixing the Engine of Justice:  Diagnosis and Repair of Our Jury System.

Among other things, Tunno says the book advocates improving the result of the trial system by being more selective about who serves on juries.

Tunno will be signing the book and appearing at several book stores in the region:

1) 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at Once Upon A Time on the Square bookstore, 401 Town Square Road, Copperopolis

2) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Barnes and Noble bookstore, 3501 McHenry Ave., Modesto
