Leger update

Well, the reality TV show “Hotel Impossible” has finished its filming at the Hotel Leger. Owner Ashley Canty and her staff are thrilled with the improvements and the outpouring of community support that the show sparked. Below is an email from the staff at the Leger, complete with the announcement that tours this weekend will give folks a chance to see the improvements, the details of which can’t be announced publicly until the show airs in a few months.

Here’s the Leger email:

THANK YOU FROM
“The Historic Hotel Leger”
“ITS TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A HOTEL”
Hotel Impossible ROCKED- We are Still not sure what hit us!!

It is beyond words how grateful we are for the entire community coming out and helping us. We had well over 200 volunteers this weekend and Well over 2000 man hours volunteered.  We are not sure how to say thank you that represents how amazed we are by everyone who pitched in and made these amazing projects happen.   We are now checking people in the correct way and we have another amazing space to rent for events and we have a great surprise to show everyone that the arts council and many local artists volunteered for. The yard looks amazing and I am a little vague as the show asks that we don’t publicly show the changes but we are starting tours this weekend for people to see the changes for them selves……..Tours Sat and Sunday 11, 2 and 4pm this will probably end up being a weekly ongoing event.    AGAIN THANK YOU CALAVERAS COUNTY for your Support and THANK You CALAVERAS Government Center for all your help in accomplishing this task and helping to save and beautify the Historic Hotel Leger.
