That fire last week near Saddle Creek

Turns out that fire last week (July 23) that burned 75 acres behind the Saddle Creek Golf course in Copperopolis was the largest of all the many dozens of lightning strike fires that day around California. I learned this from the weekly video fire report by California Department of Forstry and Fire Protection Information Officer Daniel Berlant. You can find those video reports at fire.ca.gov
